Jun. 4th, 2023 01:08 amTis the season for series finales! I hope y'all had some good ones. I didn't have a problem with Ted Lasso but I also didn't feel like it was anything to write home about. My Tumblr on the other hand, they had a bad time.
The 40 Best TV Finales of the 21st Century, Ranked
1. “Made in America,” The Sopranos
2. “Always,” Friday Night Lights
3. “Person to Person,” Mad Men
4. “Felina,” Breaking Bad
5. “The Book of Nora,” The Leftovers
6. “-30-,” The Wire
7. “Everyone’s Waiting,” Six Feet Under
8. “Part 18,” Twin Peaks: The Return
9. “START,” The Americans
10. “With Open Eyes,” Succession
I had to skip all the way to 18. “Whenever You’re Ready,” The Good Place before I had seen one. And I do love this finale and I still cry every time. I cry in anticipation and then I cry when it happens. Chidi had the best goodbye speech ever.
I have never been attracted to Ryan Gosling before. He looks super weird in Barbie and I hate it. But GQ has done the impossible because he is a fine looking grungy cowboy!
If you want to reminisce, here's what summer was like the year you were born. I also just liked looking at the pictures.
I wrote 29 days in May for 21,915 words and I'm pretty happy with that. And yet I have finished none of all the many things I have started. Very sad about that. : )

Date: 2023-06-07 07:40 am (UTC)29 days is great! I'm doing 180 for GYWO, and that's about what I can manage, outside of NaNo. Finishing is good, but words are words, finishing and editing come later :)
