So Christian Bale, Jonathan Rhys Meyers, and Ewan McGregor star in this tragic glam rock queer musical drama. It sparked both my interest in Oscar Wilde and Ewan McGregor. I honestly couldn't tell you how many times I watched this movie when I first found out it existed. Possibly too many since I too sometimes channel a space alien rock god come to earth who my associates really should fear more, but who could say?

Here is a music video if you want to get more of a feel for the traumatic poor choices that will be made in this movie. The movie does kinda end on a hopeful note? Listen, it spoke to the emo kid I was at the time. I painted my nails black, had my very first email at curt_wild_, and knew that nobody would ever get a happy ending.



Ewan McGregor is a tasty young thing here and there is absolute full nudity and no doubt about what he's getting up to with his guy pals. Just putting it out there, this might have been the first dick I ever saw. They are still floppy and strange looking.

I'm really looking forward to seeing those two on the screen together. They're both funny, hot men, and the world can never have enough of Ewan's cock on the big screen.

So far I've spent my day today:

*playing around with FishTycoon which entertains me way too much. I'm so pathetic.
*writing sg1 cam/dan in my first two classes
*finishing the first half of my paper for criminology
*watching the first episode of Long Way Round with Ewan McGregor. He's so pretty, and I'm hoping this snag me back to Star Wars and Ewan a bit.

What I still have to do:

*take a shower
*go watch our women's basketball team lose in a supportive way while playing my trombone and staring at Cheeba's ass
*start second half of my criminology paper
*type out what I've written so far of Skinning the Cat cam/dan
*go to sleep at a reasonable hour (ya right).

I'm thinking about starting a weekly friendslist appreciation spotlight. Will have to ponder about how best to go about it.

I'm through the first three chapters now, and they've just set out of the station on their adventures. Love, love this book so far, though I'm terribly afraid it'll wake up the old wanderlust in me. I went camping for four nights off by myself last year and it was the most wonderful experience of my life. I proved a lot to myself then, that I could handle myself, be alone and enjoy it. How awesome would it be to take off across the USA and visit all the Parks I've wanted to see and the Cities that I can only dream about?

Right, back to the book. It's really unique to be able to read words from actors like that. To know what they're really thinking and to be able to pick out quirks that are real. I, however, was very sad to read about Ewan's experience in Elk City. Oklahoman's are supposed to be known for our friendliness or something, right? Alas that it wasn't northwest OK, we'd have treated him well. This episode does prove to me that I've been a very bad Ewan internet stalker since I hadn't heard about it before and apparently it was all over Jay Leno.

Having a hard time finishing up Revenge of the Sith. The book just adds so much to the movie cannon, I feel closer to Anakin then I did before I started. I'm at the part where Mace is gathering his group to go find Palpatine, and I just know I'm going to bawl before it's all over. Books make me cry so much more then movies. I was a wreck after I read LotR the first time.
