Challenge #4: In your own space, create some goals!

So, I've never been great at setting/keeping goals. A year seems so long, and lately longer still. I'm going to take my personal goals month by month. And fannish goals. . . well, I didn't write much last year and I don't know how to be excited by things when I'm by myself. I'm not good at finding community anymore.

Janurary:
Get up with my alarm - no snooze. <- I've done really well on this and it hasn't made me any more tired than usual.
Take the dogs out twice a week. <- I'll need to take them somewhere tomorrow to keep this. I know they more than the backyard exercise I do everyday, but it's cold and wet and I'm desperately looking for my motivation.

Februray:
No fast food - I intend to make a exception for maybe like two real meals from restaurants as long as vegetables are included.
Finish a craft - I have a lot of barely begun projects to choose from! But maybe my finger maze I started on a canvas with rope and tissue paper.

Fannish:
Finish the last fic Sam Wilson/Bucky Barnes friends with benefits and lube trilogy:
Lube -> Not Just for Weird Stuff
Porn -> Not Just for the Lonely
Sex -> Not Just for Pals

Enjoy Falcon and Winter Solider even if it's not perfect. (It's not going to be perfect.)

Try hard at the getyourwordsout habit pledge I made to build up a habit of writing daily. I think I'm shooting for 240 days. Trying to get a word count was too stressful because I could see the bad habits forming just to shove more words on the page.

I think nominations are going to open this afternoon, but I'll probably wait a few days to see if anything else occurs to me. If you've never done Yuletide before, check it out. It's fun, exciting, and it feels awesome to give someone a fic in a small/rare/nonexistant fandom. I've done it for two years now and it's a great experience.

Let me get some good stuff out first:

1. The Colbert/Stewart/O'Brien (srsly don't go there) was made of awesome and will probably amuse me for the rest of time.

The bad:

6. One day, I will learn not to read fandom meta.

Problem A: starts with all you people being so much more intelligent than I am. Now, I'm no dummy, but I'll admit to being fairly superficial in my life/writing/reading/watching habits. Probably half of the points y'all make go right over my head.
Problem B: is that I am the incredible minority of fen from Okieland/Bible Belt/midwest/whatever. I just don't think the way that people from the coasts, Canada, Europe, or Australia think. Too bad too, 'cause you're way awesome.
Problem C: I have bizarre personal gender thoughts of which there has never been made a box to fit. I'm not a feminist, and I feel slightly like a traitor. Most days, I don't feel particularly feminine, or womanly at all. It's discomforting for this to be shoved back in my face (though admittedly, I do it to myself).

Basically those combine to make me confused, befuddled, and strangely uncomfortable. I don't know precisely where that leaves me fandom-wise. Jealous, I guess.

Yes, this is all from the SPN fallout from the last episode. I use this icon ironically. (I think, unless I'm not, but in that case I swear that I'm not being intentionally dense.)

To sum up: can someone give me a girl prompt or two? I promise nothing, but I'd like to give it a try. Preferably something quirky, AUs, crossovers, upbeat, big ideas, just be nice to me, yeah? : )
