Ahahahahahahaha! I wrote ten pages of paper last night! Whoo! Only a bazillion more before I won't fail out of this semester of Uni! Oy.

I didn't mean to sign up for yuletide. Well, I did, but I tried to talk myself out of it and just couldn't. I find that when I get stalled on one thing (sorry thady) I really have to plow forward with something else or it becomes a never ending cycle of suck. I think I'm going to enjoy writing the prompt I got, and I'm definitely not going to put it off til the last second.

It's the first week of class and I should not be so stressed.

~ Oh my God the reading! I should buy stock in eye drops!
~ Oh my God the papers! Imma have to kill a tree with all the papers I have to write.
~ Oh my God the money! Loans barely cover rent, not food/phone/other. I can only substitute Tu/Thur and even then there's a two month wait for a paycheck.

But you know what we're gonna do? We're going to fight. Like men. In tights. I love you. *hugs*

Annnnnnnnnnnnd, I'm back.

Bummer about SGA. I only realized reading other peoples' links that they hated S4. I thought that was the strongest season since S1. I don't even remember S3 at all. I am skeptical about the movie, especially written by JoeM. I bet David Hewlett is just going to go crazy with new projects, and that's kinda exciting.

So, livelongnmarry looks promising. There's a bunch of stuff on there I'd be interested in, and it's not near as scary as Sweet Charity. I'm thinking about offering some fanfic, even if no one wants me, at least I did my part, right? : )

Also, I know that there are some vidders on my flist. I'm just saying, if anyone offers to vid for SG-1 S9/10 + Ark, I'm there bidding.



In other random news:

I hate ?format=light. It just drives me bonkers and I have to change it over to style=mine to get to the generic comment page.

The people upstairs were having some kind of underwear, loud music, jumping up and down right over my bedroom party last night until four in the morning. I actually went upstairs to ask them to cool their jets, and it was my first time up the stairs. Well, I live in the freakin' Ritz compared to what they have up there. I can't understand why they wouldn't clear away the cobwebs in the hallway. That'd be the first thing I did every morning.

I finally got a call back from the state's Office of Emergency Management. We're working on getting me an internship for credit, but I'd take it even without the credit. I'm really excited to go down to the capital and see what's the what.

I got a call back for the resume I sent out last week, and I have an interview on the 8th. It's just a part-time office job - at a church, no less - but it'd be nice to do something. I'll bet they're interviewing everybody, but maybe I'll make a good impression and they'll feel sorry for me. *crosses fingers*

Big bang went well. I'm writing again, even if I should be working on my class papers. As soon as my textbook get here, I'll have to start preparing for my class the third week of July. Boo.

Guess who failed at NaNo? Me.

Guess who's going to grad school next semester? Me!

Now there's only a million things to do between now and then. *engages panic mode*
