I wandered around, and finally found - the somebody who
Could make me be true, and could make me be blue
And even be glad, just to be sad - thinking of you
+ Man does Jared look good here or what? I love the hair, very nice in this ep. Also, I think Dean looks way bulkier next to Misha, and I like.
+ Love the montage of cut scenes between Sam and Dean. I know that it would hurt too much to call each other, but I still wish that they weren't completely shutting each other down.
+ Absolutely adored all the Cas and Dean adventures. Cas might be totally into Dean, but I just don't get anything but amusement from Dean toward Cas. The whorehouse was not quite as tacky as it could have been.
+ Sam ran away to Oklahoma! \0/ And that town that got hailed, burned and then overran with demons . . . I hope it was Norman! Suck it Sooners!
+ I'm so into the angel/God storyline. Though I don't even know how God could be dead, my head can make no sense of it. I really liked Dean comparing the angels causing the apocalypse with a bunch of kids throwing a kegger. I hope they get spanked at the end. Also, not that I'm complaining, but I think it's strange that Castiel or Dean haven't heard from Anna yet.
+ Sam wouldn't drink the blood, even when he had every reason too. Plausible deniability in his guilt and the chance to save a whole lot of people. He didn't need to run away, because he's stronger than he thinks he is.
+ The Missing Fathers conversation. Golden. Every single word. No matter how much I detest John Winchester, Dean has always loved him. It makes me happy to hear him encouraging people. . . and angels. I imagine that he would make a good teacher for something he was interested in.
+ I believe that Dean probably enjoyed a week away from Sam. Doing what he wants when he wants, taking an open and shut vampire case, and finally hooking up (but not in the biblical sense) with Castiel. With Cas, it's like he's the big brother showing the kid the ropes, and he's missed that. BUT - he wouldn't want it forever. He'd start driving himself crazy inside a month. I like this Dean. He's doing what he needs to do. I just want him to find out that he can do it with Sam as partners.
+ Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! Do Not Want real show Lucifer!Sammy. I feel so bad for the poor little guy; his entire life, he hasn't ever had a chance for safe or normal. Unfortunately, when Lucifer was talking to him about how it "always had to be Sam" I had a horrible flashback to the marching band playing the worst version of Sinatra's It Had To Be You. It kinda ruined the moment. -> I still need to know if this has anything to do with Dean bringing Sam back in S2. When the YED asked Dean if he was sure that what he brought back was 100% pure Sammy.
- I do not like the bar girl. At all. She's too pushy and I can't stand people who can't take 'no' for an answer. She's not entitled to Sam's history. Privacy should be respected not hounded until the person finally gives in. This goes for those jackass hunters too. Sam doesn't owe anybody anything, but his friends and family.
- I don't believe that Dean hasn't laughed that hard in years. It just can't be so because Dean is a man who lives large. He eats big, hunts big, fucks big, and I'd bet my left nut (if I had one) that he laughs big. There's no way he'd pass up a chance to have a go at Sam either.
So, does Sam tell Dean that Sam is Lucifer's real vessel? I really need to know why it had to be Sam. They've used that dialog twice now, it has to mean something.
Has Dean ever told Sam that he was the one who broke the first seal? Because I think that might be kinda important in the whole guilt trip saga.
