This one's different from the previous as necessary misunderstanding only makes understanding all that much better.

Still no sign of Lord of the Rings characters, just people who look like them.

Without further ado- My Bush or Yours?

Climbing Caradhras turned out to be more then any of them had
bargained for. The hobbits, tired and trembling, took turns riding
on the backs of Boromir and Aragorn. Bill had by far seen better
days.

They were only half way and had not come to the snow yet, but it
was weighing heavily on all their minds. Gimli marched
grumbling about the wealth of Moria until the entire company was
prepared to throw him over the next available cliff.

Legolas felt neither tired or weary. Instead he was filled with
anticipation. Boromir's casual handling of him and his reluctance
to put him down confirmed the elf's notion that the man returned
his feeling. At least it almost did.

He felt a thrill in the pit of his stomach ever time he caught the
man's eyes. He felt foolish to let Boromir get such a hold on him.
He looked down and saw he had been shredding a flower. His
father would be embarrassed. Legolas a two thousand year old elf
engaged in a human adolescent ritual, how ridiculous.

"Duck!"

Without thinking twice, Legolas threw the flower away and dived
off the path and landed on something that was simultaneous hard
and soft.

"Get your crazy arse off me, Elf!" Gimli's voice was muted as it
was pressed flush with the ground. "Do I look like Boromir to
you?"

"Wait just a second, you,"

Legolas was cut off from return banter with a sharp look and a
cutting "Hush!" from Gandalf.

He lay prone for several more moments on top of the dwarf until
Aragorn gave the all clear sign. Legolas stood up and held his
hand out to help Gimli while he listened to Aragorn and Gandalf's
conversation.

"Watchers again," Gandalf said combing through his beard.

"We should start traveling by night, "Aragorn said his eyes warily
trailing to wards the horizon.

"No, but we should camp tonight in shelter. We might as well stop
now, these shrubs will suffice for two apiece."

Gandalf turned to Legolas and added, " I'm surprised you did not
see them coming sooner."

Those words, though not said in anger, cut Legolas deep. His
frivolities could have cost the fellowship their lives. Was his
pleasure worth that? It was a question he did not even need to ask.
So with resolve he set about making camp studiously not noticing
Boromir.

His resolve didn't last long.

"Care to share a bush?"

The question was a simple one. Boromir stood in grace with one
hand bent on his hip. Legolas looked surreptitious about figuring a
moment this large could hardly be missed by the others, but they
were all busy preparing to go to ground themselves.

"I did not mean it to be a hard question." Boromir said smirking
breaking into the elf's thoughts.

"Oh sorry, yes. I mean, that would be fine," Legolas mumbled
sliding beneath the bush in question.

Lying taunt, Legolas waited for the man to join him. Boromir
crawled in and began making himself comfortable. Although he
was trying very hard to control his breathing and heart beat,
Legolas jumped when the man touched his arm.

"Are you okay?"

"Of course, I'm fine. What do you mean?" Legolas blustered and
shifted to (he thought) casually touch the man.

Then Legolas made his biggest mistake ever. He looked into
Boromir's eyes. He couldn't hear a word the man was saying,
instead staring fixedly on his mouth.

Legolas leaned closer, his lips parted in invitation. Noticing the
man's accelerated breathing and heart rate, the elf moved his hand
up to cup Boromir's face. It was only then that he noticed the fear
hiden in his expressive eyes.

Legolas' own eyes widened considerably, then without an ounce of
grace flopped to his other side and scooted as far away as possible.
Heat emanated from his face.

"Legolas?" the man behind him breathed.

"Just don't," Legolas said, eyes tightly clenched shut against his
embarrassment.

When he awoke early the next morning, it was to find Boromir spooned tightly behind
him. One of his arms draped around Legolas' hips, hand possessively curled around his
hip bone. The man's face was buried in the elf's hair so Legolas could feel the warm
moist breath tickling the back of his neck.
