chase_acow: Fraser looking at Ray K from due South (ds longing)
The year was 1992. I was nine, and I was in love with a renegade. : )

He was a cop, and good at his job. But then he committed the ultimate sin and testified against other cops - gone bad. Cops who tried to kill him, but got the woman he loved instead. Framed for murder, now he prowls the badlands. An outlaw hunting outlaws, a bounty hunter - a RENEGADE!

Previously on Crushes I have had: Shawn Michaels: The Heartbreak Kid and Diego de la Vega: Zorro
chase_acow: Toy Story excited dinosaur *flail* (random dino flail)

The year was 1996, yours truly was but a girl in Junior High, and had but one love. Shawn Michaels, the Heartbreak Kid. Yes, go ahead and laugh. Really, you should. I had magazines, a cardboard cutout, a jacket and an autographed picture, so I deserve it. But there was so much skin and spandex!

Still, I can’t help but think that my fascination with wrestling in general and him in particular helped ease my transition from normality to fandom. The story lines were dramatic and over the top, frequently revolving around the betrayal and brotherhood of a bunch of muscle bound men who constantly touched, hugged, and rolled around on each other. Oh, and some times they wrestled.

I wrote my first fan fic involving Shawn and another wrestler called Sting. Of course I didn’t know what I was doing and it was a horrible Mary Sue travesty where they fought over me. Also, there were wolf cubs, because back then, there were always wolf cubs. But that is a story for another day, a cold day – in hell.

You see, he danced, well really it was more of a strip tease )

And he had a lot of fun outfits, most likely, it was the chaps that got me )

He’s naked a lot )

He has this best friend and they do a lot together including getting naked, looking like dorks, and posing )

Of course, it wasn’t all giggles and sunshine, I did go through an enforced period of severe Canada-hate )

He had a great piece of entrance music: Sexy Boy Song link

At least the first that I can remember.

Anyone here ever watch the Family Channel back before ABC got their grubby little hands on it? My dad used to record Rin Tin Tin and Zorro for me so we could watch them together whenever it was his weekend to keep me and my older brother. Since I'm not into bestiality, we'll move on to Zorro.

otherwise known as el Zorro.

When daggers are pointed at innocent hearts
And muskets are ready to fire
When tyrants ride high and govern with fear
As the forces of evil conspire
Then from out of the night a hero must rise
With courage that even a mask won't disguise
They turn to... the man called Zorro
One who's larger then life and defender of all
Is the man who the people acclaim
He's the one who strikes back for the poor and oppressed
A hero... whose name is Zorro
His name is Zorro

He was so handsome and just. Although, now it's kinda hazy if I wanted to date Zorro, or be Zorro. I always dug on Felipe played by Juan Diego Botto, too. Now I think, hmmm a young ward, can you say slashy? This series had everything, culture, romance, drama, action and adventure. They even had an episode where they met Santa Clause. It taught me that everyone can make a difference whether they wore a mask or not (I still wanted the mask though).

The boss tried to kill me with a bomb today.

The boss is an eighty year old lady.

The bomb was one of the bug foggers.

I think it should still count.
