I mean, I'm not a big fan of Anya Taylor-Joy and I don't think she could have done what I wanted this movie to do anyway. For a movie named after her, Furiosa definitely got the short straw as a character. She didn't get to shine or have quality little character moments. I don't know anything about more about her than I did after Fury Road. This movie was a dick measuring contest and I was actively repulsed by all the nipples.

Chris Hemsworth is awful and distracting. That nose was not enough to fool me away from his obnoxious man-child Thor energy and I'm tired of watching him play those characters. I did like his tree ending though.

I was in the theater alone, so I worked through some of my email during the first 45 mins that mostly should have been cut.

I did enjoy seeing Tom Burke again, and now I want to watch him play Athos in the Musketeers again. I too would have fallen in love with him.

I did really like Hitman on Netflix. I was afraid it wouldn't live up to the hype and that Glen Powell would be cringy, but it was a very low-key entertaining movie that showcases a lot more of his talent. The ending will hit and miss. I think it's a rom-com-noir? Is that a thing? I'd say it leans into the rom-com, so if you're okay with that you will enjoy all of it.

I am also in love with Ron (the hitman alter ego). Though then I realized Glen was really out there doing promo for other movies with Gary hair when he had to know how to style it like Ron. Dude. I was not a fan of Gary hair.

I enjoyed Furiosa for all the big booming music and sound effects, which I suspect shouldn't have been the main draw.

And yes, Tom Burke! It was such a wonderful surprise to see him, and yes, I would have fallen for him, too.
