Ted Lasso - I am caught up. The himbo soccer players are delightful. Keeley and Rebecca's friendship is amazballs. Roy is life. Ted is fine. It took me a couple of episodes to get through the little voice in the back of my head saying he just wasn't quite right and was probably a serial killer. I am really enjoying Jaime this season. I have not dipped my toe in any fic yet, but I might look at Roy/Trent or Roy/Jamie/Keeley.
My Kind of Country - a reality competition/mentorship show to find a new kind of country star. The three mentors - Jimmie Allen, Mickey Guyton, and Orville Peck are specifically trying to find a nontraditional new talent to help into the scene. So there are a lot of contestants from South Africa and other countries, a lot of different backgrounds, and a lot of blended country-ish sounds. I've enjoyed it so far, they all seem like good people.
MLB Daily Recap - so after Miles Teller forced me to watch Phillies vs Astros, I retained the smallest interest in the sport. I still think the games and season are too long, but I both like the rule changes they made this year AND listening to the melt down over the rule changes this year. The recap is 25-50 min highlight from the previous day's games and it's all hits, errors, and the interesting bits. I realize I'll have to watch actual games if I want to learn anyone's names but this is real nice for now.
The world's most expensive sandwich is a $214 grilled cheese with gold foil.
It actually sounds pretty tasty.
