Welcome to my weird night shift posting hours!!! only 58 more work days to go.
Challenge #14- In your own space, post your pictures of your fandom scavenger hunt results.
1. a fannish item

I will forever love this Falcon bear! I have several different Funkos, but Cap!Bucky was my fav to pair with him.
2. somethinground your favorite shape

Stars are my fav! And I love the blue against my copper walls.
3. something that is your favorite color

Orange is my favorite color - just like this Firey who is super cute unlike the nightmare fuel from the movie.
4. the last game you played (video, phone, table top, etc.)

This is just a dumb little mobile game I play at work, but I love looking at the colors and either I remember how the shading works or I have to figure it out. To totally brag, it show an average number of moves for each puzzle and I absolutely blow it out of the water. Nobody tell me if it's boinked.
5. a book you are currently reading

His wife has left him, his father is sinking into dementia, and Marcos tries not to think too hard about how he makes a living. After all, it happened so quickly. First, it was reported that an infectious virus has made all animal meat poisonous to humans. Then governments initiated the “Transition.” Now, eating human meat—“special meat”—is legal. Marcos tries to stick to numbers, consignments, processing.
Then one day he’s given a gift: a live specimen of the finest quality. Though he’s aware that any form of personal contact is forbidden on pain of death, little by little he starts to treat her like a human being. And soon, he becomes tortured by what has been lost—and what might still be saved.
All my recommendations are now cannibal themed. This is a problem, my limit is one a year. The book is compelling but it is . . . raw. i'm sorry
6. album art of the first song that comes up on shuffle

for this song:
7. the last movie you watched

No spoilers, but it's worth a watch if you're a fan of the original. I mean, my bar was low because I legit got up and walked out halfway through the last Halloween Kills movie.
8. TV show you're currently watching
I actually just finished a rewatch of The Orville in preparation of SEASON THREE FINALLY DROPPING IN MARCH!!!

9. the homescreen, lockscreen, or desktop wallpaper from your device
My lockscreen is the Sam, Figaro, and Alpine part of this gorgeous fanart!
My homescreen shows Bucky's silver arm reaching out to a fluffy white cat meowing.
Yes, I have a type.

Your Firery is cute!
I Love Hue looks fun! I do this color eye test thing sometimes - it used to be bigger - which is kind of same, but yours looks better. :D I might actually download!

Also, if you had a Spirograph as a kid....?
This rocks: https://nathanfriend.io/inspiral-web/
Love the art of your screens! Here's a fandom question - i've read the name 'Alpine' for a white cat for Bucky in a number of fics. Is that some kind of fandom thing, or is that from a comic somewhere, or....?

Date: 2022-01-30 02:51 pm (UTC)Hue is very similar to that eye test, but with more relaxing chimes and values that go from very vibrant to very muted. I love it so much. And I am absolutely playing with that spirograph thing at work tonight!
Alpine is Bucky's current canon cat, that's her in my icon where she first appeared in Winter Soldier: Second Chances and then continued in Falcon and the Winter Soldier
Here's some panels of her being real cute!>

Date: 2022-01-30 07:03 pm (UTC)That spirograph game is SO addicting.... I loved it when we were kids. Even have an old set, somewhere, sit the little push-pins they gave you to pin the rings down before you drew.... :D

Date: 2022-01-30 08:28 pm (UTC)Your review makes me want to check out Scream. I love the original (spoiled myself for this one since the last few instalments have been... something) and if it's similar to the OG then it's bound to be enjoyable (maybe coherent?).
LMAO did you really get up halfway through Halloween Kills? (I read the Wiki plot summary for it and it seems like... a choice.)

Date: 2022-01-31 01:09 pm (UTC)Scream gets real meta and I loved it. The end goes off the rails in a very similar way to the original, which I admit, was not my favorite part. I loved seeing Dewey, Gale, and Sidney again, and I think they had good stuff.
I absolutely walked out of Halloween Kills, Anthony Michael Hall phoned it in so hard, it was so bad. I wasn't a fan of the original series, but I liked the first reboot with spunky!grandma Jamie Lee Curtis so I was hopeful. But no.
