mackie: an incomplete primer

One of my favorite posts about the recent Mackie smear campaign simply says:
an exploitation of homosexuality is taking a black mans words out of context to frame him as a homophobe, so that you can use homophobia as a tool in your racist hate campaign against said black man
So anyway, here's some stuff I like about Anthony Mackie:
Did you know he got involved in voter registration and COVID testing last year? He made a very fuzzy and emotional appearance on Jimmy Fallon about his kids and policing issues and voting. It's one of my favorite interviews to watch. He's not ashamed of a few tears when he's talking about something important.
Though this is my favorite video: BANG, BANG!
Black Excellence? Sure, there are some pics. How about this photo of Mackie, Boyega, Cheadle, and Boseman? Or this one with two happy dudes? Jackson, Mackie, Fishburne, Cheadle, and Boseman together? Damn. Or as Sam Jackson wrote: “Darkness for ya!!” Jackson wrote. “These Muthafukkaz [Don Cheadle}, [Chadwick Boseman], [Laurence Fishburne] & da Mackman! All in with these Bruthaz!”
He wanted to be on Sesame Street ( and basically became a god at his kids' schools )
