My favorite things about characters are the barriers they use to protect themselves and what circumstances or other people convinces them to start to lower them. Not gonna lie, my id leans toward tragic and traumatic backstories which you either could get into to or just allude to. I'm not specifically asking for sad endings, but sometimes they really hit the id spot.

Welcome to The Good Place

Don't get comfortable. Sometimes good advice, but particularly with this show that changes so much. Every season is a New Thing, and you might like one more than the others, but as a whole I have enjoyed the ride. I'm looking forward to rewatching this last season when I can binge it all together, because I didn't quite like it as much as the others on the first view.

( I really liked this show. It was ridiculous, it was thought provoking, you could see the characters really form relationships and act from those relationships, and I've got no problems with how they envision the afterlife. )
