Likes: sarcasm, magical realism, found families, grouchy affection, first times, secrets, soulmate/soulbond, crack treated seriously (ala Brooklyn 99), humor, angst, sharing a bed, accidental bond, pretend dating, pining, lots of dialog, relationship issues (near infidelity, poor communication, getting back together but it's not easy), belligerent sexual tension,
- h/c related: I like characters being smart, resilient, and capable even when they are badly hurting, and I would really rather not see their troubles reduce them to a childlike state or near-catatonia. stolen from
coaltide
- sex related: laughing together during sex, intimacy, touch-starved, rough sex, the choosing part when a character agrees to be vulnerable, first times, safeword use, roleplay, dub-con, bareback,
Dislikes: 1st/2nd person point of view, pregnancy, kidfic, everyone in the group is tidily paired off in relationships, unrelenting fluff, mundane AUs without at least a hint of magic
My favorite things about characters are the barriers they use to protect themselves and what circumstances or other people convinces them to start to lower them. Not gonna lie, my id leans toward tragic and traumatic backstories which you either could get into to or just allude to. I'm not specifically asking for sad endings, but sometimes they really hit the id spot.
Leverage
You can watch free with ads on IMDB TV which has a channel on Amazon Prime.
I love this show, and I'm so interested in how they slip in and out of the different roles they play. Mostly it feels like it's fun for them, but maybe sometimes there are issues?
I picked the tag about everyone being a wolf thinking everyone would be a werewolf, but maybe that wan't clear, so if you wanted to make them actual wolves conning other wolves, than I would be totally down to read that. As for werewolves, I still like a pack/family structure, scenting, reading body language, the idea that lone wolves can go a little crazy. If you wanted to go with a fusion/crossover with the werewolves of the Patricia Briggs' Mercedes Thompson book series - I'd be delighted.
Time loop - this is a ridiculous show and I think this idea could be hilarious or touching or horrifying or all three.
Dragon Age
here is a very long playlist of all their interactions. I haven't watched it so don't feel like you have to stick to any choices made in the video.
I love these two. I tend to give my player characters traumatic backgrounds, so I'm interested in an Adaar that was used and abused prior to stumbling out of the Fade. I thought the conditioning tag might apply to him.
Geopolitical problems would be a tangled mess between all the powers involved and Josephine pulling the strings to get as much benefit as possible out of Adaar. He's only got eyes for Dorian but there are steps they have to take. I kinda image this one with a humorous intent, but I just loved the tag.
Time Loop - they're already dealing with time magic and weirdness so this one is an easy set up.
Creepy stuff - I find getting infected with the red lyrium incredibly scary. All the demons could use a little extra scare in their steps. Emprise du Lion is one of my favorite locations with so much potential for this one.
I prefer an archer, but I'm not that fussy about names or specs for any Adaar you're willing to give me.
Marvel Cinematic Universe
A/B/O - I forgot to nominate just an alpha/alpha tag and that's what I'm most interested in. How they'd navigate social norms and how they get along, taking turns allowing vulnerability? fighting so the loser submits? idk.
Trading sex - could be dealing with the Winter Soldier persona, or meeting with Bucky under different circumstances. I like the misunderstandings aspects of this, that maybe they both want each other but they can't trust the motivation. Or that while the Winter Soldier only wants a convenient outlet, Bucky is madly in love.
