Out of Practice

Obviously I'm a little rusty with the whole finding interesting things to write about. I haven't been able to flex any writing muscles (at least that don't have to do with leadership styles) for several months now. It's not easy to pick back up.
So, just so that I can get back in the swing of things, not necessarily because you want to read it.
I started watching Stargate SG-1 and I'm really enjoying it. Jack/Daniel is my new obsession, there's just something about a pseudo-geek in glasses. The fun thing is, my friend and I saw a guy at a basketball game who looks just like Michael Shanks. I want to write some, but I'm not sure about what.
I bought Due South season 1 on dvd. I'm watching the episode where he finds the hockey players who was his childhood friend. Wow, with the slashy.
I haven't gotten the chance to watch ROTS on dvd yet. I haven't even read any A/O fic since the last time I posted on LJ. I dunno if I'll be able to get back into the swing of things. I feel bad for my wips, and I'll try to haul ESB out and finish it on the off-chance anyone is still interested.
Very excited for Brokeback Mountain to come out (boo pun).
School has turned out okay this semester. I'm going to be freakin' busy next semester, with 19 hours, and the responsibility of Spirit Band. I had to make the hard decision and choose not to do marching band next fall. That led to quite a few tears, and sweet memories. All the friends I've made are leaving including...
The Boy Who Bruised My Heart. We became closer friends this fall, and I've finally grown up enough to decide that even if he spontaneously blurted out a declaration of love I'd have to tell him to bug off. I deserve someone who'll give me all the attention he could. He's still nice to look at, and very warm to cuddle with on a cold bus ride.
I decorated for Christmas the past couple of days. I'm taking a class over the break, so I won't have to play nice with the family for more then the weekend, barring natural disaster. I've already got a present under the tree too.
So yeah, that's the sadness that I've been up to lately. Amusement to come shortly.
