Yuletide Santa!

I'm so sorry it took me so long to get this up! I know I was anxious until I found my Yuletide!Santa letter.
From a Yuletide newbie, thank you so much! I’m so excited and I hope after seeing my prompts that you are too, or at least you’re not pulling your hair out. I promise, that I am very easy and I’m just thrilled that you’re going to write one. Here’s some of my likes, but just run with whatever catches your interest and leave the rest alone.
In general, I like big, slightly campy, completely unrealistic yet so satisfying story arcs. John McClane can kill a helicopter with a car, Zorro can take out a whole parade of soldiers, Robin and Superboy are already wacky junior heroes, and Ben and Michael are constantly on set of a crazy sci-fi show. There’s all sorts of opportunity for oddball, insane circumstances to be taken by the characters as totally mundane.
I don’t have many squcks at all, and I can’t think of any certain deal breakers that I harbor. Like I said, I’m pretty easy going and I enjoy a wide range of writing.
1- Live Free or Die Hard
John McClane/Matt Farrell
I loved this movie so much. I think I saw it four times in the theater over the summer. I so enjoyed how over the top it was and how John and Matt could bicker and use their individual skills to save each other’s lives. hard4brains and I wrote a fic tagged around here somewhere. Any rating is fine, I like smut just as much as the next person, but if that isn’t your cuppa then that’s cool too. : )
RequestDetail1: I prefer slash (John/Matt), but gen would be okay too. Feel free to throw in any other characters fit with the story of course (I have a fondness for Warlock and his mum). I prefer humor to serious and fun to realistic, but I'm real easy (winks) so write whatever comes to you. As possible prompts, 1) I'd love to see the boys spend the holiday season together where high adventure as an afterthought to the craziness that is decorating/cooking/gift giving and meeting family or 2) fighting the dorkiest (yet almost dangerous) supervillian you can come up with.
2- Zorro (1990 tv)
Don Diego de la Vega aka Zorro/Sergeant Mendoza
I had the biggest crush on Zorro when I was little. I was carried away by the romance and adventure and his great one-liners. I loved how smart he was at the same time that I loved when he took out the Alcalde’s plans single handedly and cut his “Z” all over the place. Mendoza was my second favorite character. Sure he was used for slapstick comedy relief, but he had a heart of gold. I always wanted to see him get the girl at the end of an episode.
RequestDetail2: I'd prefer gen - rated like something we'd see on TV. I'd love to see an adventure tale using the best of Zorro's may talents combined with Mendoza doing something important while still bumbling around being his lovable self. Mostly, a fic in this universe would just be wonderful!
3- Young Justice
Kon-El aka Superboy/Tim Drake aka Robin
I collected these comics as they came out, and I loved them so much. I haven’t kept up with them after the book got canceled and I don’t know very much preYJ either. I do love the DC mythos though, so if you want to incorporate bigger storylines, that’s cool. Again, I love the campy feel of it where they don’t take themselves so seriously. I mean, their first supervillian was The Mightily Endowed, how cool was that? Any rating is fine here too. : )
RequestDetail3: I like these boys together romantically or just as friends because I love the banter. I'd like to see something set between when Wondergirl gets voted leader and the end of the series before Secret goes completely insane. Alternatively I love when the gang gets together to do something fun: camping, carnival, trolling the mall. Basically, I'd like anything!
4- RPF - Stargate SG-1
Ben Browder/Michael Shanks
I couldn’t resist this, there’s just so little accessible SG-1 RPS compared to SGA. Feel free to add whichever actors you want into the mix, I’m just going to be so pumped to read this. I’ve written a lot of Daniel/Cameron, but I’ve never tried my hand at the actors. They all seem so friendly at conventions though and appear to get along well together. I love their stories of practical jokes and goofing around on set. Back to my original “likes” the wackier the SG-1 set gets and the more accepting the actors are of the crazy the cooler I think it is.
I know both actors are married with kids and lives, but however you want to treat that is fine by me. I know some people are more comfortable giving the wives a nod and then divorcing them while some people like to completely ignore them from the beginning. If you want to treat the actors as characters of themselves, that’s fine. The bottom line is whatever makes you comfortable is fine. Also, any rating is fine. : )
RequestDetail4: I'd prefer slash or friendship Michael/Ben with optional Claudia and Chris cameos. I love Daniel/Cameron so one cool thing that would be fun to see would be them discussing that, or somehow falling for each other's characters. If you want to get completely away from stargate and get them lost together in a Canadian shack or something, I wouldn't say no. I would definitely prefer something light to any kind of serious and/or angst here. Just have fun, I'm still real easy!
