A plot


Teyla is freakin' hot. I don't know what this sudden fascination of mine is with the women of Stargate. I sure hope it doesn't require any more second rate girlslash on my part though.

Ronon = still annoying. Tattoos are good though.

Ronon has fat pants. Or possibly a skirt. I'm just saying. Though I love how Teyla gets him to talk. And with the messed up hair. And I love hearing about her thoughts and rationale.

Somehow I'm less than convinced about the veracity of those op details. I don't know, maybe it's just me. . .

So, Ronon's room vs John's room. Ummm.

Okay, John and Rodney shooting things in tandem... hot. Way hot. Smokin' hot.

Oh, John's shot and Rodney's gone.

Well, crap. Stinking Wraith worshipers or what-have-you.

John wake up noises are very awesome. Aw, John taking another blast for Rodney. Poor Rodney, and that is so me with the Christmas presents. And he just can't help talking and trying to figure things out.

Well, it's good to see that Atlantis hasn't outgrown their willingness to sacrifice their entire command staff in one fatal swoop.

The fight scene however was very well executed.





B plot


Oh McKay. Poor, dumb McKay. Ouch! The embarrassment, it burns! Almost worth the woobie Rodney face, but that is some serious let down that boy is facing.

Oh, I feel so bad for poor Teal'c. 10 years might be a long time, but Teal'c still has 50 years on all of SG-1 many of which was spent in a relationship with Sam, right? I teared up at this scene, I'm so glad they put it in.

Fruit basket! Good thing John's not jealous. Oh, oh, that's sneaky John.

Okay, is this the part that we were all worried about? Where McKay turning into a babbling idiot every time Sam's in the same frame? Because we were right, it pretty much sucks. I definitely hope that they cut that out very soon.

Sam vs Ronon And Sam wins!

I really like the John and Sam on the balcony scenes. Oh, Sam, it must suck to be the lone voice of reason in a sea of crazy.

I really, really appreciated this. The continuity with the hair, the understanding that Teal'c has all these memories with Sam that no one else remembers. SO GOOD!

Seriously, that's got to be one of the saddest plots ever. I think I cried when I first watched Unending and I'm sure I'll manage to bawl at least once per movie. All those, 'could haves' and 'should haves' just start adding up until it's too much to deal with.

That pissed me off like you wouldn't believe. I can't believe she'd go off on a combat mission on her first frigging day on the job. Plus what happened to all the marines they supposedly took with them?

Yeah, they should have sent Lorne or something while she stayed back and coordinated everything. I'm really getting annoyed by all the assumptions and suspending disbelief that the writers are asking of me. I like the show, but it's getting a little wearing.
