Thursdays aren't great, I work ten hours wed-sat, and I have no brain after the first three hours or so. Summer is boring. Summer is the worst. Did I have a point? IDK, I love magical realism. So, I've been listening to different mixes from 8tracks while I'm working nightshift and nothing is happening between 4 and 8am. I thought maybe I'd put my mixes up there too, so I could listen to them wherever I am.

Here is the mix I made for The Sanctuary: I Love You Cause I Have To.

Any tips or tricks? Anything I've done wrong that y'all can point out?


Also, I think I'll be doing Yuletide again this year, and I'm a little excited. I finally thought about nominating a videogame and my favorite book ->

Lord of the Rings: The Third Age which is not the best video game, but I loved the characters. Yes, they might resemble straight up knockoffs from the movies, because those were the only rights the creators had, but they're fun and have their own problems.

Pig's Don't Fly by Mary Brown This is my favorite book bar none, I read it all the time and it always fulfills what I need. It starts off with the protagonist being a whore's daughter who is obese, and the story follows her journey through magic, adventure, and romance as she picks up animals she can communicate with and tries to find a home for all of them.

This, I don't know, but here it is. : ) There might be more later on if I can figure out how to do it without turning Derek into a giant walking weremarshmallow. I wished we lived in a better world were good things happened to good people, and everything could be fixed by a hug or a helping hand.
