Fargo Season 5 finished this week, and I absolutely loved it. I'd never successfully watched an entire season before, so I wasn't hopeful. I was originally intrigued by Jon Hamm playing a MAGA inspired corrupt Sheriff, but once I saw Juno Temple was the actual lead, I knew I'd give it a shot. I loved her as Keeley Jones in Ted Lasso even if I wasn't a fan of the writing/story in the third season or the way they styled her hair up so tight.
She is AMAZING as Dorothy Lyon. She is gorgeous and her hair is soft. I thought the accent she did worked. She is smart and funny and vicious and compassionate and resourceful.
Anyway Fargo is 10 episodes of a weird dark comedy with a lot of violence and some potentially triggering topics. I watched on Hulu but it's originally FX.
domestic violence past and present - both between spouses and parent and child, drowning in debt, Trump era politics (it takes place in 2019ish), misogynistic and white nationalist interpretations of the bible, corrupt law enforcement
Also, I managed to keep all my pipes going in the sub-zero temps! \0/
