Tony. I mean, my ideal Tony Stark is a mix of the Iron Man trilogy, RDJ's charm, the comic friendship with Steve, and an itty bit of Avengers, but seeing him giving up there is rough. His storyline was the only one I really enjoyed in Infinity Wars, even though again - I prefer could have been with his mentorship of Peter Parker than what was actually played out on the screen. I desperately want some decent closure for him and Cap in this movie for my shipper heart. I'm not holding my breath, but I'll be secure in the knowledge that out there somewhere is someone who is going to write my perfect Tony getting a happy ending.
Now this is rough, because I am a Cap gal, but pairing him with Natasha for the last million movies has been the worst for me. I can not stand Scarlett Johansson. I dislike her style of acting, and I dislike some of reactions to folks calling her on bs. I mean, she is still a step up from gwyneth paltrow who is bugnuts insane. So now, I don't look forward to Steve's storylines cuz there's johansson's crappy version of a great character who deserved better. I admit I will hold a grudge over that "bye, bye bikini" line for literally ever, and we can't even blame that one on whedon. Thus, I'm indifferent for that part of the movie, when I should just be able to enjoy Chris Evan's swansong.
I am excited for more trailers.
And here's the first tidbit of hope for a new Dragon Age game! That is a beautiful red lyrium idol, though #thedreadwolfcanbitehisowntail. If I get my hands on Solas, that is one dead egg. Hopefully they learned their lesson from Mass Effect Andromeda, that game was stupidly big while still being incredibly shallow with wildly inferior antagonists. I just want a good, deep lore game that's like 30-40 hours doing 100% completion. Take a look at this year's game of the year God Of War, you can finish it in about 25 hours, but doing those sidequests and challenges add double the time but didn't feel repetitive or tacked on.
I still haven't finished the new Tomb Raider or Spider-Man games, because they got stretched out so much. My attention span is apparently still shrinking.
