july movies

Another not great month for movies in my half broken theater. Hopefully they'll open the other half soon and there will be more choices. I am now coming down against the reserved seating in the recliners. Like I'm doing my part to sit off center and away from people STOP SITTING NEXT TO ME! Our tiny theaters are seldom half full, there's no reason that my absurdly large personal space bubble should have to be popped.

I'm pretty sure I already talked about Spider-Man. I actually saw it twice, but the second time I skipped the last main fight to go to the restroom because . . . eh. Maybe it suffers of pre-middle movie, but I continue to become more dissatisfied that they don't spend time with the powers - how does he stick, the enhanced senses, the spidey sense (call it spidey sense you cowards). Aw well. Still love this movie.

Toy Story 4 - all right movie, not funny and not what I wanted.

Stuber - OMG WIN BBQ I love this movie, I will buy it the second I can, and I will force everyone I know to watch it. It's rated R, but I didn't think it was gross, the violence is not over the top considering today's bar. I imagine it was mostly for a five second scene in a strip club that was having men's night. And I love that entire section of the movie. This was so funny, and it worked hard to deserve to be funny.
