I just switched internet from suddenlink/optimum to AT&T fiber, and so far so good! It's faster so that I can finally stream games from playstation plus, and it's gonna be cheaper. I guess we'll se about when/if they decide to start jacking the price up. I just hate suddenlink so much, they had the worst customer service, and everyone has warned me that they'll start calling/texting/emailing to try to get me to sign back up with them. I look forward to being politely hateful to any of them who don't get a clue real quick.

I used to live with four cats and a tank of tropical fish. So hoping that counts! Sometimes it feels weird to only have two cats now. Weird, but much cheaper.

I think it counts! Until about six years ago, I've only ever had one cat at a time, but having multiple is just hilarious and they definitely seem happier.

I have two friends who went from DSL to AT&T fiber. I wish I had the option to use anyone else -- we're so limited in an apartment when it comes to fiber options.

Definitely! I always thought that like in a fair world one of the perks of living in apartments would be cheaper/better internet because it would be less work and distance for the company to set everybody up with whatever speed they wanted.

I hated the old internet, but even then it wasn't until a preponderance of poor service gave me the last push to get over the inconvenience of switching companies. And then it turned out to be so easy that I'm kicking myself for waiting.

Do you mean escalator or elevator? I have been caught in an elevator but being stuck in an escalator is much more painful and dangerous.

I meant escalator!

My friends and I was riding down and I turned around to say something while leaning against the railing. Unfortunately, I was wearing pants with flaps on the back pockets, and that flap got caught under the hand railing part that moves. So I was stuck sideways, crab stepping up the stairs to stay in the same place while my friends rode down and looked for the emergency off . . . which they didn't find. I ended up having to rip my pants to get out of it. I took it as a sign to skip the rest of my classes for that day and go home.
