So, I've been incredibly busy. Last week it was finals (two As and an incomplete F that I'm making up in Jan/Feb but still no word on my class from last spring) and this week I'm hip deep in researching resources for special needs populations in disaster shelters. I want to know when it's time for me to go back to sleeping until noon and slobbing around in my pjs all day? I've got writing to do, damnit!

Tru Calling

I really enjoyed this one and a half season show. I wish it had finished out the second season, because man am I curious about where they were going with those story lines. I loved that it ended on the Christmas ep though. I have a soft spot for Christmas specials. : )

Also, I don't know if SPN has completely ruined me or what, but I really started shipping Harrison/Tru. They had one of those rough childhoods, and Tru was really the only one who could get through to Harry. He knew her secret, and they were just really, really cute together. There's no hope for me, is there? o_o

Bones

I watched the first season on Bones all the way through. I really enjoy the Booth and Bones friendship, and I can never decide if I want it to become something more or not. I loved their Christmas episode where we find out about Parker and Booth gets high.

Smalville

I got the first disc of the season Jensen did, watched it, and nearly poked my own eyeballs out. Sorry Jensen, but I can't watch that crap, not even for you.

Bad(der) Santa

Originally, I only rented this movie because my friend really hates Christmas and this was the only one I could interest her in. BUT, it turned out to be really cute - y'know even with all the booze, nudity, sex, and inappropriate body functions. I really enjoy watching Billy Bob work. Also, this movie worked as a great lead in for . . .

The Christmas Cottage

So I warned my friends not to expect much, but in the end we didn't hate it. Of course we had to laugh a lot comparing in to Bad Santa so we probably missed a few things. Jared did well for what he was given to work with, and there were some funny parts. I'm not going to buy it, but it was worth watching once. I kinda want to write something where Jake (from Devour) moves to Plasterville after he's finally released from the mental institution. They'd be cute and very awkward together.
