Here's my last
de_recs entry. If I were a writer for Due South, I would write:
Episode Title: Mi Casa es Su Casa, but Check your Baggage at the Door.
Episode Villain: Victoria Metcalfe
( pic )
Plot: Victoria comes back for one more shot at convincing Fraser to go back with her. While in Chicago, she finds out about RayV’s undercover work and tries to blackmail RayK.
Side plot: Ray finally convinces Fraser to move out of the Consulate, but maybe now isn’t the best time.
Guest Stars: David Hewlett as a (gay) apartment building manager
( pic )
Memorable Quotes:
Fraser who has obviously been trying to get Ray’s attention for some time: “Ray, Ray, Ray.”
RayK as if snapping out of hypnosis: “72”
Fraser slightly exasperated: “What?”
RayK triumphantly: “That’s how many times you’ve said my name since yesterday.”
Fraser sighing as if long put upon: “Dad was right; I’m investing in the shock collar.”
RayK after David’s character hits on Fraser: “What is it with you? Some secret Canadian peritoneum?”
Fraser: “I believe you mean ‘pheromone’, Ray.”
RayK: “Whatever. You guys smell things. Inappropriate things at inappropriate moments.”
Episode Highlights:
~ RayK and Victoria getting into a chick!fight complete with slapping and hair-pulling.
~ Fraser Sr. complaining that he’s being left behind.
~ Victoria finally getting her comeuppance.
~ Fraser moving in with Ray at the end of the episode.
Your turn! Tell us about the episode you would have written into the series. Get as wild as you want, or stick as close to canon as you can. Bring back your favorite villain, guest star, or plot. Or add your own new villain, guest star, or plot. Give us quotes, scenes, sets, or anything that strikes your fancy. And hey, if anyone gets any fanfic ideas from this thread, that’s all the better, right?
