Also, I just read rivkat's Sam/Dean fic Captured by the Game and I loved every single word. And there's a lot of them. It's over 60,000 words of interesting, awesome, hot season one AU. These boys are just so damn broken, and their only hope is each other. The new mythology that fits in with the show so perfectly is entertaining, and engaging.

Dean and Sam both busted my heart wide open and then sewed it back together. I wish I could come up with characters half so compelling.

Author's summary: AU. Azazel has given his favorite son a task: worm his way into the confidence of a hunter. It sounds simple, but Dean Winchester just might be more than Sam can handle.

Also, there has not been a lot of love over at spn_summerlove and that's a real shame, because I've seen the light and Dean/girl is just plain hot. There's also Sam/Bela, Dean/Bela, Sam/Jo, Dean/Jo, Dean/Ellen, Dean/Jess (which I'm amazed that I also find wicked hot) and a few others.
