From JoeM's blot re: Reunion and how much Flan's brain corresponds with the fandom hive mind.

McKay is escorted out of the wraith cell: In the original version, as McKay is being escorted out, Teyla tries to hearten him with: “Stay strong, Rodney.” to which an obviously unnerved McKay replies: “I’ll try.” In the original draft, Sheppard calls after him: “Try harder!” But we ended up losing the line because Sheppard is unconscious at this point. Originally, I felt that the fact the wraith had their stunners trained on Sheppard would be enough to keep him in line but Joe felt Sheppard would resist regardless - so we had him zatted instead.

Thank god! I'm really looking forward to the story that Flan wrote for later in the season. I think it'll be a very interesting look inside Shep's mind from the man who knows him best. It's these little bits that fill me with hope for this show.

My hope is that they actually took some of Joe's suggestions in Outcast. Carl Binder wrote the script, so I'm hopeful, but still slightly wary in the sense that Joe's former suggestions often got ignored.

Joe knows Sheppard! (And Martin Gero knows John Sheppard's secrets:) Together they could rule the world!

Yeah, he seemed happy enough about it in that Q&A he did for the SciFi channel. I remember he was less than happy about that last one. [livejournal.com profile] derry667 saw him yesterday(?) at a con and linked here (http://derry667.livejournal.com/93413.html#cutid1) about Flan talking about choices he makes on how to play Sheppard. That made me happy. : )

It's easy to call him a dork, but it's not through his lack of trying. . . . I don't think that quite expresses what I wanted it to say, but just assume that I love Flan and want good things for him. : )

So much joy! SO MUCH JOY! I'm actually watching the John/Teyla scene from Sateda right now and I just love the interactions with his team and his emotional expressions in his own special way. Also, the "I'm tearing up and biting my lip" scene in the season premiere? OMG, that sold me on John Sheppard like nothing else could.

The more I hear of Joe Malozzi the more I dislike him.

He is definitely not a very likable guy, at least not through his blog. And I have serious doubts about all of Atlantis' PTB. It is nice to get the pics and videos and tiny bits of info in his frequently dog and chocolate ridden blog.

Of course, sometimes I wonder if he know how many people only show up for the cast pics and don't read a word that comes out of his egotistical mouth.

I really don't like Joe M's "humor" and honestly just go to his blog for the behind the scenes stuff. The only saving grace for him is the fact that he has the biggest man-crush on Joe Flanigan that I have ever seen. It makes a Sheppard fan very happy :)
