Yeah, it's gotten way clearer as I watched more of the season. I've been reading meta about season one and Dean in particular that's really been clearing things up and making it jive with what I've seen in season two.

I hadn't thought about John being gone making it easier for Dean to get Sam too. But that def fits in, thanks!
