This will be my Yuletide letter eventually.
Thank you so much, Yuletide partner. And if you're stopping by to stalk me for a treat, I love you too! I'm super easy with this fest, but if you have a question don't be afraid to poke one of the mods to ask me. I like all the ratings and gen or shippy. I tried to list who I ship in each fandom, so just don't pair them with someone else and my little shipper heart will be okay.
Likes/Dislikes: I can't think of any kinks that automatically turn me off. I'm not a big fan of first or second person point of view. I like dialog. I am open to any rating gen to shippy porn. Write something that makes you happy, and I'll be so glad for both of us!
Saving Grace -
I have all the Grace feels. I'd love any kind of tag from an episode, or something preseries, or even what happened to Grace afterward - does she come back to visit, does she become a last chance angel. I love that the religion in the show seems to be a find-your-own-way catch all. I'd love to see some sort of cheesy A Very Saving Grace Christmas, because I imagine it would include a lot more cursing, booze, and sex than most of the made for TV movies.
If you are interested in writing dirty porn, I've wanted to read a Butch/Ham/Grace fic for ever. I'd love to read about the first time Ham bottomed, or A/B/O (also available as a no porn plot idea), or any kind of meta on Grace's extremely varied sex life.
Lord of the Rings: The Third Age -
So, if you've played this game, you know how ridiculous the plot is. what little plot that's there. I think I kinda want some sort of over the top fantasy adventure that has very little basis in reality. Or maybe I want a serious Tolkienesque slice of life from the group's journey toward Gondor. It's also possible that I want something completely different, so I look forward to anything you come up with.
I started out asking for Berethor, but the more I thought about it, the less I actually cared who took center stage. I'm a fan of Berethor/Morwen, Berethor/Idrial, and Berethor/Morwen/Idrial. I like Hadhod because I am a dwarf fan, and his relationship with just about everyone.
Pigs Don't Fly by Mary Brown -
Pigs Don't Fly and its direct sequel Master of Many Treasures are like . . . the books of my heart. They're about a girl going out on a journey and learning who she is and what she wants. Summer has adventures and meets interesting people and falls in love, which is what I always wanted to do. She is awesome, but has her flaws, and her back story is sorta heartbreaking.
I honestly don't know what I want here. I love the characters, so any addition to their stories would be excellent - with the exception of the ending of Master of Many Treasures. The ending is terrible and painful and I couldn't imagine it any other way. I like the silly way-side adventures Summer and her animals have. I've always been curious about what the animals thought about their journey.
I also love the plot of these books, so if we have another fandom in common and you want to write a fusion about what would be different and what would be the same, I'd be cool with that.
Honestly, I will be happy with a lot of stuff for this little book.
Trick R Treat -
Sam is my favorite part of this movie, but I really like all the stories and how they fit together. I just like Halloween, and I love horror movies. I kinda had an idea for a 5 Times fic putting Sam into other franchises and seeing whether he changed things or not, or if he was responsible for the movie/TV/book playing out as it does.
I'm okay with any level of horror/violence/gore.
Young Justice (1998-2003) -
I loved this comic series when it came out, and was a little disappointed by all the cartoons that came out afterwards because it didn't feel that that was "my" team. I didn't follow what happened after this series ends, but I don't mind if you include any plot points as long as I can understand them through your fic.
I picked Kon-El as my requested character because he was my favorite. I loved him from his rebel never-growing-up years to when he lost his powers, to when he really matured and started taking the team seriously. I do ship him with Robin (Tim Drake), but I loved his friendship/relationship with Wondergirl too. I kinda see SB and WG as bash brothers. Towards the end, I also kinda shipped him with Snapper in a very odd way. I wanted Kon to take Snapper home to Kansas for Christmas. I wanted to include ALL the Christmas tropes, because that's how I roll. : )
So yeah, I loved this book, and I don't remember any characters that I didn't like.
Zorro (TV 1990) -
Oh, my first noncartoon crush was on Diego. I loved this show. Zorro was like Batman, but better because he had a horse. I love the series, the will they/won't they with Victoria, the culture, and the characters. Mendoza often stole the show for me. It's been a while since I've watched them, but I think I am partial to the first Alcalde, but both of them were over the top villains in the best of ways.
I don't really know what I want for this request. I've thought about a reboot, especially if Toronado can stay. Or something sciency from the time period, because those were some of my favorite episodes. The Christmas episode was awesome, but it could probably use a sequel. I'm really open to whatever you come up with.
