You want to create fan works based on stories I have written? OMG, that's awesome!!! Feel free to remix a fic, write a sequel, create fan art, or podfic my works. I'd ask you to credit the original work that inspired yours and that you link back to it. I'd also love the chance to check it out!
Podfic: if any small modifications to the words/dialog are needed to make it flow better, that's fine with me.

Hello friends and enemies. I write things (I'm trying a habit goal of writing for 300 days this year at @getyourwordsout). I tinker with graphics- while I'll never be great at it, I do enjoy it.
I try to make posts that have links, videos, or pics to make them look interesting.
I am/was super into US politics but I wish I wasn't, and am definitely taking a step back for the year. I'll come back to help with the midterms. I rarely post about politics, but I'm up for good faith questions/discussions.
I play the trombone in my local community band!
I have four inside cats, and one who declared herself an outside cat and bitterly complains when I bring her in during bad weather. There's another stray who discovered her food and now hangs around. I keep trying to get him into TNR clinic, but I think he'd also make a good inside pet for someone else. Maybe I can get Animal Welfare to take him soon.
I'll try to talk about anything!

I add people to my circle whenever I see posts I'm interested in. I try to comment, but sometimes I'm not great. So I totally understand random friending and lurkers. No big deal around here. On the other hand if you're a talker, excellent! My schedule isn't always the most consistentand I don't log on at work, but I have lost my last fuck and am now clicking any link I want to at work. I try want to reply as much as possible.

I welcome all of the following types of comments on ANY of my entries:
• Single or two word comments, e.g. , woo!, yay, yes, no, please, thanks, agreed, seconded, no way, etc.
• "+1" or Facebook style "like"/👍🏼.
• Otherwise brief comments, e.g. single sentences.
• A comment that is a punctuation mark(s) to let me know you read, e.g. a period "." or an asterisk "*".
• A comment that is a punctuation mark(s) to express your response, e.g. an exclamation mark "!!" or question mark "??".
• A comment that is an emoticon(s) or emoji to express your response, e.g. \o/, <3, :), 😀, 🤣, 😩, 😭, etc.
• Long, wordy comments. Rambling is more than welcome.
• Sequential commentary. It's totally okay to comment about one thing as you read it, then another thing in a separate comment, then a third thing after you've chewed on it for a while and feel ready to talk about it.
• Incoherent comments. It's a language all it's own!
• Talking amongst yourselves in the comments is fine. I like creating a place where people get to interact.
• Image comments. If you feel more comfortable commenting with a .gif or image than text, please feel free. I may even reply in kind :)
I also welcome:
• Comments on older entries, access-locked or public.
• Comments on VERY OLD entries, access-locked or public. I have many years of archives.
• Comments from people who are not subscribed to me.
• Comments from people who I’ve never met.
• Comments from people who haven’t talked to me in awhile.
• Comments from people who’ve never talked to me.
TL;DR: Feel free to comment with what feels good and comfortable to you, whether that’s leaving a !!! or an essay. I love receiving all types of comments and am always pleased to receive a notification in my inbox. However, if you don't feel called to comment, or can't for whatever reason, that's also totally fine. No pressure, no obligations.
How I comment & reply to comments:

• I do not put off replying to a comment as a way to signal that I disliked it.
• I sometimes do not reply to comments. I do not intentionally ignore a comment as a way to signal I disliked it.
• You are never obligated to reply to a reply, nor to write longer-form than you wish.
• If I have forgotten to reply to something you want a reply to, a poke is totally okay.
